MIGUELEVY
Born in Santo Antao, Cape Verde.Moved with his family to Lisbon, Portugal as a child, and he still resides in Lisbon. The family consists of several very talented artists, and not surprisingly, at a very young age, Miguel displayed a talent for drawing and painting. The talent, drive, energy and inspiration for drawing and painting were so intense that he became a professional artist. Today he is a well known autodidact artist with works in acrylic, mixed techniques, and watercolors.
Miguel´s art has gone througt different phases. More recently,he has explored acrilic on canvas with collages and cardboard.His style can be considered a fusion of abstractionism,impressionism and expressionism.He has had numerous individual exhibitions and participated in over 40 collective exhibitions,in Cape Verde,Portugal and other European countries,and China.
